I asked for ombré and the sr stylist didn’t achieve anything remotely resembling ombré. Was asked, “do you want a blow dry” when it was 20 degrees outside and there was no one available to blow dry my hair anyway so I had to do it myself while sitting directly next to the owner. Is it weird to want to see what your hair looks like after you spend $175 on a balayage? Service was abrasive from everyone involved after I expressed my disappointment.
I was promptly contacted after submitting my review and was able to come in the next day to correct my hair. The owner was hospitable and explained the technique that the previous stylist used and why my vision was not realized. I received a much better education with my desired hair color, and was meticulously worked to an impressive end result. I appreciate the hard work they put into getting a satisfied client. Frank's work is amazing, and the salon itself is beautiful and well kept. 2 of my family members received haircuts here and were thrilled with the results. Another family member received a purple highlights and was also thrilled with the results. I always had great confidence in choosing this salon based on the reviews and pictures, and I'm glad I was proved right in the end.
The salon decor is super posh and glam, but the level of skill there that everyone has is what really shines. You will be greeted by a friendly face (with gorgeous hair, of course) and will be offered a cup of cappuccino. That seals the deal for me right there. But then Kris cuts, colors and styles my hair and I walk out feeling like a celebrity. I’ve recommended her to all my friends and almost don’t want to write this review in fear that I won’t be able to get an appt with her again. Kristen is super talented!
I have been going to Craft hair studio for a year now and I have never been disappointed. It is a classy "New York salon" brought to NJ. Billy is phenomenal and always knows how to spruce up my hair! Whether a blow out, cut, or color I always leave happy. I highly recommend Craft hair studio as well as my stylist Billy Delrusso.

As for the salon, the facility is beautiful and clean. The front desk staff is friendly and helpful. Shout out to Frank for running a top notch operation!
My friend referred me to Craft for the "emergency" hair color :) My stylist/colorist is away and I am traveling on Sunday. Frank and Caitlin took great care of me! Frank has a special talent for matching colors! Beautiful color and great service! Very carrying people, too. I was offered capuccino or other drinks. They even have plastic sleeves to put in your eyeglasses, so you can read while your hair are colored.
Ever since I cut my hair short, Billy has been my go to guy. He is friendly, high energy, professional, and meticulous. Billy is always open and excited to change things up with the haircut to fit what I want at the time (i'm always changing my hairstyle-why not?). I'd recommend him to anyone-as a matter of fact I have, he also cuts my mom and sister.
