Always clean. Good deli ... Meats .... And produce. Plenty to do and relaxed shopping.
I would like to acknowledge the young girl in the sandwich shop. I believe her name is Kaley Williams. I have stopped in here quite a few times for a sandwich in the morning before work and she is always ready to take my order with a smile on her face. I ordered a cheese platter last month specifically with her, and told her all the details and how I wanted it to look. The platter came out FABULOUS. Any sort of catering that anyone needs done at this shoprite, always ask for KALEY she goes above and beyond
Best grocery place in the area. Good selection, especially of produce (organic and regular). The building size is on the small side but they do the best they can working with what they've got. For example, there isn't much room for the checkout lanes. Parking is a little limited especially during holidays, but again, they do the best they can with what they've got and it was recently (around 10 years ago) expanded. The closest competitor is at least 15 minutes away. This doesn't include the King's across the street as it has an extremely limited selection and some of the highest prices I've seen.
This location is in dire need of a face-lift. It is dumpy and dingy, and doesn't match the town that it's in. Driving 10 minutes to the Stirling location will get you a significant upgrade in produce quality, meat/seafood variety, and prepared foods.
These stores are independently owned, so maybe the owner can make an investment for the loyal customers of the area?
Horrible selection of organic, paleo and gluten free items. Most shoprite stores have an awesome organic section, but this one is really behind in the times.
